We've Moved

Hello, LCD Family!
LCD is on the Move.....
LCD wishes to sincerely thank Wiggin and Dana LLP for being such gracious and wonderful hosts for the past two years! As we do every two years, we have moved on to a new host, Day Pitney, LLP.

Our offices are now located in Day Pitney's Hartford offices, 242 Trumbull Street, Hartford, CT 06103. We are very excited about the next two years and happy that we have come full circle and will spend our 10th Anniversary where we started in 2003!

Please be on the lookout for an announcement regarding our 10th Anniversary Celebration in 2013 and many exciting opportunities for you to help us celebrate 10 years of service to Connecticut's legal community.

We are very excited about this year’s program! We look forward to honoring two deserving 1L’s!

Meet last year’s honorees:

		I am incredibly appreciative for the experience that LCD gave me though the Diversity Scholars program. I was able to work at Day Pitney and UTC the summer after my 1L year, which gave me a significant competitive advantage over my peers. I sharpened my research, writing and analytical skills in a professional atmosphere, and gained valuable insight and advice from leading lawyers in a variety of practice areas. At Day Pitney I was able to work on projects in areas as diverse as Commercial Litigation, Energy Law, and Public Finance. I received mentorship and significant feedback on my work-product. At UTC I was able to gain an appreciation for both the high-level corporate atmosphere as well as more local field operations. I met with lawyers from a variety of practice areas, and got an idea of the legal landscape of an in-house corporate practice. To participate in this sort of a program as a 1L is absolutely invaluable.
